About Isoblue
Technology & design roots - where business intelligence meets modern engineering
Where business intelligence meets modern engineering
Isoblue Limited is led by Sue and Chris Bampton, a small, highly experienced team blending 25 years of technology, design and business analysis across hundreds of projects on five continents. We help start-ups, charities, large corporates and agencies improve their online presence, digital workflows and operational clarity.
Remaining intentionally small means our work is personal, accountable and hands-on. Clients deal directly with the people doing the thinking, building and advising.
Our Story
Isoblue began as a technology- and design-led studio focused on clarity, usability, and skills transfer. Over the years, our work has evolved with our clients—from early content-driven sites, to database-driven applications, and today into modern cloud deployments and safe, AI-assisted development.
We are strategists who build.
We provide clear thinking, pragmatic advice and practical delivery for organisations navigating digital transformation—always prioritising simplicity, cost control and maintainability over hype or unnecessary complexity.
Much of our recent work has supported clients moving from fragile low-code or vibe-code platforms into stable, scalable architectures, whether through modern hosting environments or IsoStack, our own multi-environment development stack designed for safe AI acceleration and long-term reliability.
We are also a registered Social Enterprise, helping not-for-profit organisations modernise confidently and sustainably.

Meet Chris
Chris is a Business Analyst with 30 years’ experience and involvement with more than 700 organisations. His work sits at the intersection of strategy and technology, translating business goals into systems that are practical, scalable and commercially grounded.
He has consulted for major UK organisations including Aon, Boots, the Blood Transfusion Service, Childline and NATO, and brings deep insight from the charity sector through his role as a trustee for a regional organisation.
Chris’s focus is always on clarity, efficiency and cost-effective improvement—designing systems that adapt to change rather than react to it.
Meet Sue
Sue brings extensive commercial design expertise, helping start-ups launch, guiding rebrands and supporting established agencies with clear thinking and creative communication. Her work blends visual clarity, marketing insight and practical technical understanding, making her design both distinctive and genuinely useful.
With a strong commitment to completion, consistency and budget discipline, Sue ensures every project remains focused on what matters—communication, engagement and purposeful design. Her influence on UI and UX is felt across all Isoblue and IsoStack projects.
Whether working with commercial clients or supporting charities and non-profits, Sue keeps every project aligned with objectives—and always aims to make the process enjoyable along the way.
