Squarespace announced today (21st July 2022) Fluid Engine - A brand new editor for Squarespace websites.

It’s a major step for Squarespace and in the opinion of many - long overdue. The likes of Wix, Duda, and the WordPress page editors like Elementor, Divi and Semplice have long enabled the functionality that Squarespace have added. Overdue, but well executed and with an excellent user interface - it’s a platform to build on.

It is early days in the development of this new editor, and some essential features are queued for implementation but this is a major jump in the right direction.
